Skipping Girl Old Sign Richmond for Sign2

I grew up looking at this sign. Not standing out on its own. But there is a growing cult regarding the sign in photographer community.

This was what we did after sake drink with Joel last Thursday.

The other old sign is Nylex which is no longer lit at night. Otherwise I would love to do a long exposure on it.

Old China Town eatery for Treasure Tuesday

I was taking a stroll last weekend. After a nice dining for Joel's Birthday. I came across this old building again. In university days, I ate there a lot. The food quality declined badly over the years. The cook added rice powder to all the dumplings before they get fried. Cinnamon is also added to the stuffing. It is just not the same anymore.

Street sign in Tamshui Taipei for Sign2

The sign says street corner. The carp symbolises wealth.

This is an old street from 1900s

Tenby point old jetties for Sunday Best

This is lowest tide of the evening from a week ago. There are way too many mozzies potentially carrying encephalitis B virus

It was a bad planning on my behalf. These muds sink my feet to waist level if I am not being careful at all. So it is all telephoto lens doing the long exposure ineffectively.

At least this look is not common on instagram feeds.

Old Chinese painting passed on in the family

I have a large family. Over 200 cousins that I could not count them all. It has been 3 years since I return to Taiwan. There were many wonderful items passed down the family tree. This was one of them.

I am not sure if this was a real painting or a fake one. The dress code was from Manchurian period with a pig tail. Quite a scenic background too. There is a lot of western painting influence for this one.

Old Melbourne Gaol - Interior

It rains a lot whenever it is a weekend in Melbourne. Originally, I was going to do some urban exploration in Geelong. Then the plan switched to this simple visit to the old goal.

Sorry Stefan. This is a weird lens fetish I have for ultra-wide angle lens :)

Abandoned Gold fields, Castlemaine, Victoria

Castlemaine is now a hub for the alternative and the yabbies. The town is surrounded by abandoned goldfield equipment leaving them to rust and decay.

Abandoned in Clifton Hill, Melbourne

One of my pals lived in this burb. We get our expresso in a cafe not far from this location every weekend.

Altona house abandoned, Melbourne

I am planning to post a series of abandoned urbex photos around Melbourne. It is not everyone's cup of tea; it is something to document my journey in this genre.
