Boort Lake, Boort, Victoria for Skywatch Friday

Boort has 3 lakes. 2 are dried out. It is, however, a great place to eat lunch by.

    1. Thank you, Bill. This area is a little secret that most do not venture to

    1. The flies and mosquitos would repel you to leave. That is what happened to me lol

    1. In this one, little work on edits. The light was right at the time. Otherwie it would look quite flat most of the time there

  11. So many of your scenic photos look so tropical, which I guess they are close to being — comparatively anyway, especially as seen from the reality of a Canadian November.

    1. I mainly work in arid area close to outback. I tend to find waters to do the shots

  12. It is not an area I am familiar with but I recall recently hearing it was on flood watch or higher, so maybe the dried up lakes have filled. It is a good photo and I suppose at the moment, unsurprisingly green.

    1. The two dried lakes are now dead trees with first nation people still living in them. Boort means oven locally
