Red-browed finch for Eileen's Saturday Critter

Red Browed Finch was spotted outside the public toilet in Cranbourne Park. I spent two days looking for nice robins to photograph. Ironically, she was just wandering outside the loo!

  1. What a pretty bird. She was just waiting for her picture to be taken.

    1. She is not uncommon but not easy for a non-birding photographer to capture on camera

  3. This is the loveliest bird -- I think prettier than the robins!

  4. A delightful little bird, I have never seen a Red Browed Finch before, not even in photos. This is a lovely image as I also enjoyed all the cones and pine bed scattered around :)

  6. What a sweet one that is, we have had a few yellow ones on the fence but of course by the time you pick up the camera they are gone.

  7. Delightful little finch. We used to raise Zebra FInches--- and heaven knows they are prolific.

  10. Un ave muy bella que creo por aquí no la tenemos. En una ocasión pude tomar fotos a un petirrojo de tan cerca que casi se hace un selfi con mi cámara.

    Saludos.
