On Friday, cold and wet, I visited firelight festival photographing the fire performers. Not as good acrobatic performance as I would have liked but she is a positive energy to the dissapointed audience.

Generalmente son muy vistosos. Siento que no haya sido mejor.
ReplyDeleteEstrenamos un nuevo mes, que muchos se toman de vacaciones.
It was a different sort of group performing. I was wishing for an earlier group doing it
DeleteNice photo! It's too bad the performances were disappointing.
ReplyDeleteThe performance falls flat
DeleteI looked at all the Flickr photos and you got a few really good ones of her.
ReplyDeleteFlickr is my photo storage site
DeleteThe Polynesians are the real masters of this art! Aloha friend
ReplyDeleteI will need to look into that!
DeleteGreat detail and contrast between the light and dark.
ReplyDeleteI was stuck in the crowd facing her. Not too bad
DeleteI met a "fire-eater" once and he gave me a fascinating personal show - but it is not something I would want to try myself!
ReplyDeleteShe ate the fire a few times too
DeleteGood capture. I like how the fire looks :-D
ReplyDeletePlaying fire
DeleteNice image. Fire and darkness are a classic combination.

Thanks Stewart. I always like to explore different sorts of photography
DeleteCool photo op.
ReplyDeleteEspecially on a winter night
DeleteFire eaters have a special talent. The flame looks great in your photo.
ReplyDeleteThe mystique look
DeleteFire eating always looks so dangerous. I wonder if fire eaters prepare by eating hot chillies.
ReplyDeleteWonderful capture!
ReplyDeleteInteresting, didn't know of such a thing in the Melbourne area.
ReplyDeleteThat's really a great shot. Perfect balance of light.
ReplyDeleteThe fire performers have to be very talented. Great photo! Take care, have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteNice shot in the dark.
ReplyDelete...exciting, but I can't understand why people do this.
ReplyDeleteFor a show
DeleteThat must have been fun. It's been a long time since I've seen a fire performance.
ReplyDeleteI have to motivate myself to leave the house in the cold
DeleteI would love to see this in person. Beautiful shot.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. ☺
The fire makes for a fabulous photo.
ReplyDeleteAunque no te llenaría del todo el espectáculo pudiste captar una bella instantánea.
