The view is lovely. Kind of therapeutic for me.

It was a trip to St Kilda Pier on weekends for sunset photo of the local heritage kiosk. Then it turns out the whole pier is under construction.
This chap is very kind to service the spectators by doing moves close to the jetty. So I was literally taking the shots by 50mm focal length. How fun!

Sandridge pier is the classic location to take a sunrise shots of Melbourne skyline
The pier is an easy access. I arrived at 4 am with a significant sleep deprivation. Well, anything for a photo. I did need quite a few more cups of coffee after this.

This pier is an attraction for troubles. It crashes a few times over the year. The place often gets seagulls (sea rats) attacking people randomly. One kid got a blind eye as a result as well. The water smells of organic waste from these flying sea gulls too.
It looks nice pointing my camera at the sun. Unfortunately these seagulls looked like dusts on my camera sensor!

This spot is revered by many photographers in Melbourne - short travel and ease to set up the gear for long exposure under the bridge
Laowa 9mm f5.6 is a lens that does not have a good flare control. However, it is still an exceptional lens. Also a bit of glare makes the image real lol
Sony A7RIV allows me so much pixel to play with. Good dynamic range helps here.
