St Kilda Pier Melbourne for Water H2O Thursday

Returning to laborious pursuits after the festivities is indeed arduous. Behold this image, captured upon a blustery day, the sea roiling with tempestuous swells. The melancholic ambiance of the scene is rather striking to me.

I like the lamb commercial this year. A good laugh.

  1. That is a funny ad. I like your skyline photo with the choppy bay in the middle ground.

  2. We do not have this commercial here, it must have taken so much work, and so many people! I agree with your description of your photo. Melbourne looks like a large crowded city, somewhat like New York. The pier looks to be in serious disrepair.

  3. La foto me parece genial y como destacan las líneas rectas del muelle con la "línea del cielo" de la ciudad de Melbourne.
El video me parece muy gracioso y genial.

  7. I guess the photo is the old pier taken from the new pier, which I've yet to investigate. The lamb ad is good.

  13. OMG! I loved the lamb video and its message. The anonymousness of the internet does encourage some of the worst in people. I can feel the blustery weather in your photo, Roentare. It's a cold, but striking shot!
