From one of many trips to Japan in the past, this waterfall is most poetic. It feels like a waterfall in high mountains of China. The perfection location for photography.
Pentax K10D - surprising what a small sensor and old tech can create a shot like this.
The double whammy - football final and school holidays render Melbourne impossible to commute. I tried the candid photography in Melbourne CBD yesterday which was quite a shocker. Carp parking fee tripled on the public holidays. Traffic was so congested. There were crowds everywhere wearing Collingwood or Brisbane T shirts. I learnt the lesson to stay indoor even though there was Moon Cake Festival happening today.

Taken a long time ago in Lake Eildon area. It was a hot summer.

It is turning sunny today. Gonna take mum for house hunting. Then catching up with Joel for another Milkyway hunt tonight. Like what Jan says from her latest post, hobby improves happiness and better health.
A friend's pet really. It is actually alive though looks plastic on photo.

Last night, I had some fine food at a city Japanese restaurant. I did meet a friend but my whole focus was enjoying the dishes off Ala Carte menu.
I will be heading out with Joel for his birthday dinner tomorrow night.
I think it is stick insect of some sort. Or grasshopper. Not an entomologist here.

Thanks for a little break yesterday and today. I am exercising a lot more continuing the success of weight loss. Health is so important as I discovered its importance since last year.

A bee or wasp. I cannot tell exactly what it is either. I just like the green bokeh.
It was a late night yesterday. My pal and myself went searching for the sweet spots taking the gorgeous surfer's paradise sunset. It was not a disappointing experience. Persian Dinner at the nearby location too.
