Joel and I went to Cape Schanck on the weekend. It was a good trip that we both got different shots different from the one shown above. It was medium high tide at the location. Joel was almost engulfed by the rogue wave 2 metres above him. It was a shocker

Chironomids as a group are very diverse in their life histories and exhibit a variety of behaviours during their development. Due to their species ambiguity and this diversity of behaviours, there is much controversy in research on their feeding habits, particularly as adults.
Many reference sources in the past century or so have
repeated the assertion that the Chironomidae do not feed as adults, but an
increasing body of evidence contradicts this view. Adults of many species do,
in fact, feed. The natural foods reported include fresh fly droppings, nectar,
pollen, honeydew, and various sugar-rich materials.

I grew up looking at this sign. Not standing out on its own. But there is a growing cult regarding the sign in photographer community.
This was what we did after sake drink with Joel last Thursday.
The other old sign is Nylex which is no longer lit at night. Otherwise I would love to do a long exposure on it.

I saw this critter in Taiwan. Next to a street joint selling rice snack.

I got my CT lumbar spine and pelvis back. No malignancy of any sorts. But I have extensive moderate arthritis affecting multiple levels including foraminal narrowing. I am depressed by the result. These are incidental findings not to my liking. I will work on my fitness routine once muscle tear heals.
The reflection is gorgeous.
Doing plenty of sit ups and push ups now. Feeling off not being able to move about

The CT scan of the back will get me results in 2 working days. If the results are normal or mild osteoarthritis, it would be really the quads tear I am suffering from.
I am back in addiction to online phone game - pay to win. I have joined an alliance called Melbourne lol. A bunch of losers though.

Joel took me to a lovely Japanese sake bar. Great food and company. It was fun. Yet we did a long exposure shot of the old sign skipping girl at Richmond.
Due to the injury, I just make do with drone out here on Wednesday. A lovely pattern.

I have been resting for the past few days. Got addicted to a phone game. The hedonic treadmill.
I self-diagnose my right thigh as grade 1 quads strain. I can hear the muscle pop in various parts of thigh. I knew the muscle is under too much stress. Not good news that I could not take on too much adventures in the coming weekend.
Joel was standing there in the distance trying to get his golden shot before I came along taking his spot.

Last few weekends have been plagued by torrential rain and rather cold temperature. Finally Joel and I were aiming to go to Lego festival in Ascot Vale on Saturday. Then Joel ended up vomiting in his car on the way to the exhibition. So we had to cancel it in the end. He is trying to wean his antidepressant down going through withdrawal
I also heard that a lot of people said they want to make "dent" in universe? What the heck does that mean?
