The underside of the Princess Pier is all rusted. The place stinks because of massive deaths of star fish. How lovely an urban exploration ends up in this ugly spot.
Starfish is considered as a pest for the ocean floor in our areas. Plus, Australians don't eat them either. Similar to carp, no one really pays sympathy to them here
...but I like the perspective.
ReplyDeleteSomeone tells me this is triggering his vertigo...
DeleteReally nice photo
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mikael! Don't look at it after a meal
DeleteWow, that's a spectacular photo, I love the depth of it and how it expands out towards the viewer!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind words. Not easy on the eyes though.
DeleteHow sad, the deaths of all the starfish :-( Good capture nonetheless.

DeleteShame about the starfish, however it looks impressive under there - well done.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Margaret. It is the thrill of getting something taken worthwhile. Little things little satisfaction
DeleteExcellent picture, but I'm glad I wasn't there!
ReplyDeleteI spent around 3 hours down there. The waves were catching up immersing the area under seawater.
