I am a rural geriatrician. So, I provide consults to the remote nursing homes in Vic-NSW border towns. This sunrise view is the bonus view I often get. This only last 5 minutes or so before the sky became a wonton.
The only concern is that big trucks and cargo carriers often speed without a worry in the world. Taking a shot by the roadside is quite risky.

ReplyDeleteI already dressed in a suit for pretending to be a pro
DeleteA wonderful sky
ReplyDeleteThanks Mikael. The sky only lasts a few minutes
DeleteNot too bad!
ReplyDeleteHehe. There was nothing else in that region...
DeleteJeez scary stuff with the trucks! But what a shot! :-D
ReplyDeleteThanks Ananka. Trying to find things to photograph whenever I can
DeleteThat is fabulous. Be careful out there.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jim. Will do!
DeleteNice capture and rather a dramatic sky. Know what you mean by the trucks passing by, we used to stop at a parking bay along the way when we came to one.
ReplyDeleteEvery few months, there will be a mortality due to a collison of truck with something or someone
DeleteYou take pictures of their memories. And if their memories are only dreams, so much the better.
ReplyDeleteYou are a poet! So much to ponder after reading your comment
DeleteGorgeous sunrise and that building sets the composition off perfectly. Have a great day - and stay safe in your travels :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. I long to visit New Zealand again but yet to take up my courage to international travel
DeleteSometimes, I head out early, just to some very local spot to take a early morning photo. It's just about 6 now with sunrise a half hour away. I don't think it will be a good one, and I am not feeling it anyway, so I'll stay in this morning.
ReplyDeleteThat is frequently how I feel about a sunrise or sunset! We are alike
DeleteGorgeous sky! Be careful out there!
ReplyDeleteWill do! Traffic is worsening around here even in the regional area.
DeleteWhat a wonderful sunrise, thank you for sharing it. Also what an important job you do getting geriatric care to remote areas. My late husband had Lewy Body Dementia.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your husband. It became part of a routine for me visiting remote areas. It is almost like a silent retreat for me on the regular basis even.
DeleteOut of this world. Super fantastic sky!
ReplyDeleteThank you Pisi! Thank you for the visit
DeleteGreat sky shot.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jim. I am back at this blogspotting again
DeleteWhat a spectacular sunrise.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was quite good after waking up in delirium lol
DeleteThat's really gorgeous. And thanks for the work you do. Rural geriatricians provide a critical service and there aren't enough of them!
ReplyDeleteThank you kindly. Working in remote places certainly has many barriers to overcome including cultural dislocations.
DeleteExcelentes fotografías.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo.
Thank you so much for your kind words
DeleteThose cloud formations are interesting. Something I never see here. And be careful out there!
ReplyDeleteThank you. The sky was positively lightening up my sultry mood in the morning
