This is in Kerang Victoria

It is Moomba festival this weekend. But I just cannot motivate myself to get out in the heat. So bingeing watching "The Gentleman" on Netflix is going to be my plan.

Lake Tyrrell Sky for Sky Watch Friday

The same cloudless sky in summer is a trouble for landscape photographers.

Hopkins Waterfall for Water H2O Thursday

This waterfall is easy to access in western Warrnambool. It was just a slope down the carpark and I can see this falls really close.

It was in late morning when I took this shot. Funny that it looks ok despite lack of warm tone in the frame

Joel and I are heading to an airshow. It is forecasted to be 39 degrees Celsius.

Kew Eastern Freeway for Treasure Tuesday

We both felt lazy. So Joel and I came here for a easy snap.

I am trying to learn about cinematic lighting and RGB colour science. Joel is not approving of this. He just wants me to keep going with landscape stuff

Pearses Bay Blairgowrie for Water H2O Thursday

This is the spot Joel and I are determined to come back to in future. When the light is more subtle and more dramatic clouds, it would be a winning location for sunset.

Soi 38 Thai Street Joint for Sign 2

Shabby looking sign - the food joint website Soi 38 Melbourne

Beef Boat Soup - a classic

Pork Crispy

This street joint actually hides next to a parking spot next to the boom gate under a large multi-Storey building. It has a cult like following mainly from city workers coming here for a lunch break.

Pearce Bay in Mornington Peninsula for Treasure Tuesday

Joel and I discovered this bay in a very low tide on the weekend. Playing with water flow exposure.

I stumbled across this new song by Jessica Mauboy. It sounds really pleasing. She is really under-rated here in Australia.

Cadillac Gorge in San Remo for Water H2O Thursday

I have different versions of the landscape over the years. This was taken 3 years ago. I compare this shot to the one I took last year which was completely opposite to this frame shown above.

De Graves St patrons for Sunday Best

The cardiology conference is so boring. The place is filled with wankers. The soothing walk during breaks is my refuge away from the mass of people into their own agendas.

Joel sprained his back. He was hurting like a baby. So we ended up going to city beach for a sunset.

Pirate Bay Sunset for Skywatch Friday

We timed the sunset time well. As soon as we got out of the car, the sun was ready to sink.

I got a cardiology conference to attend this weekend. So no more nature hunting with Joel. Dreadful.

Magic land in Cape Woolamai Surf Beach for Water H2O Thursday

The rising tide is invading the beach Joel and I are walking on. Every 10 minutes, a large wave comes up a few more metres onshore. The receding water looks mesmerising.

Pirate Bay rising tide for Treasure Tuesday

Joel and I are doing the routine weekly nature photography. It is good for happiness as I read from the latest research. The smell of the ocean is just so soothing.
