Rhododendron Melancholy

While a visit to the Rhododendron garden,  snapshot like this is often quite fun. This was taken during the days I was obsessed with Pentax Fa limited lenses. Fa 43 is a bit of mysterious lens that pops with a particular optic arrangement.

Yarra River, South Bank

This was an image taken a few years ago. Quite a nice view with these beetle looking artifacts.

I had to redo my research project to resubmit to college. Painful process. Now I am back to post more :)

12 Arhat (Luohan) of Buddhism, Melbourne, Australia

These 12 Arhat statues were discovered in a temple I had visited. Arhats are the spiritual practitioners that have reached certain stages of attainment. Most of them have rid off foes of afflictions. Each individual of them have a gift of their own depicted in each of the statue.

There is a growing trend in the number of Buddhism temples in Melbourne. So far I had spotted quite a few in Dandenong, Sprinvale and Yarraville.

All taken by Pentax 43mm.

Emblem in Temple, Yarraville, Melbourne

The colour turned out very vividly. The place seemed very enriched with energy. The atmosphere was something mood lifting after entering into the place. As if the burden of the day was cleansed.

Cottage

Spotted in Lilydale of Melbourne. I was in fact browsing for new land to purchase for retirement planning. This cottage was probably good for photography but not for investment lol.
