Pearses Bay Melbourne for Water H2O Thursday

The way the water motion goes is kind of fascinating to me.

Bridgewater Bay, Mornington Peninsula for Water H2O Thursday

It was an overcast day at Bridgewater Bay, Mornington Peninsula.

A different take on the flow effect.

Balnarring Beach in Mornington Peninsula for Treasure Tuesday

It is not monsoon, but it always rains heavily in April and May around here. This shot was rather interesting from 2 weeks ago. The water flow motion is fun.

Joel and I are just busy playing PlayStation instead.

Old jetty remains on Balnarring Beach for Water H2O Thursday

A different take on the jetty in Balnarring Beach.

I will need to come back at full peak tide.

Pearses Bay Blairgowrie for Water H2O Thursday

This is the spot Joel and I are determined to come back to in future. When the light is more subtle and more dramatic clouds, it would be a winning location for sunset.

Pearce Bay in Mornington Peninsula for Treasure Tuesday

Joel and I discovered this bay in a very low tide on the weekend. Playing with water flow exposure.

I stumbled across this new song by Jessica Mauboy. It sounds really pleasing. She is really under-rated here in Australia.

Cadillac Gorge in San Remo for Water H2O Thursday

I have different versions of the landscape over the years. This was taken 3 years ago. I compare this shot to the one I took last year which was completely opposite to this frame shown above.

Pinnacles, Cape Woolamai, Phillip Island for Skywatch Friday

The waves give the look I was looking for with 3 second exposure there.

Portsea Back Beach in Mornington Peninsula for Sunday Best

The sea shelf exposed in the low tide often gave a photography interest for long exposure pleasure.

Yesterday I had a yum cha lunch with Leonid who visited Australia from US this year. We caught up and chatted for hours. He was trying to get me to work in US while I was trying to lure him back to Australia.

Childer's Cove, Warrnambool for Water H2O Thursday

It is interesting that some of the shots I took at the time did not appeal to me. Sometime later, they seem quite sentimental.

Pulpit Rock dusk long exposure for Water H2O Thursday

This location is always the favorite spot for landscape photographers. Only 20-minute drive from Southeast Melbourne.
