We timed the sunset time well. As soon as we got out of the car, the sun was ready to sink.

I got a cardiology conference to attend this weekend. So no more nature hunting with Joel. Dreadful.

The rising tide is invading the beach Joel and I are walking on. Every 10 minutes, a large wave comes up a few more metres onshore. The receding water looks mesmerising.

The waves give the look I was looking for with 3 second exposure there.

Finally, I accessed this area on the weekend. Especially with a high tide. My camera was splashed by rogue waves a few times.

These green plants make the slope even more slippery.
Joel and I got hooked onto this franchise stores selling "traffic lights" desert. He rang me up and we went to buy this on the weekend. Che Desert

Nyah West is a tiny town in the outback. This is a sunrise shot that I rarely take in my hobby.

The sea shelf exposed in the low tide often gave a photography interest for long exposure pleasure.

Yesterday I had a yum cha lunch with Leonid who visited Australia from US this year. We caught up and chatted for hours. He was trying to get me to work in US while I was trying to lure him back to Australia.
It is interesting that some of the shots I took at the time did not appeal to me. Sometime later, they seem quite sentimental.

This location is always the favorite spot for landscape photographers. Only 20-minute drive from Southeast Melbourne.

Gloomy and dark. The mini waterfall is a bonus for the dull sunset. There is reflection in the water hole too.

I kind of dragged Joel along to this location again. We often encountered overcast sky with zero colours. The waves hitting on the rocks vibrate the whole ground steadily. This was often why I got crappy shots here doing long exposure. This time, the tide was unusually low that there was not much vibrations on the ground level.
Joel went onto the other side of this coast which was said to be popular with photographers. His view was photo bombed constantly and I could hear him swear from a distance. Haha

I bumped into this old song today. I loved the tunes so much.
A trip to N16 beach again. No flaming sunset but not too bad clouds.

I was here for a long exposure expedition. It turns out a quick snap works out better just needing a better timing on the wave.

This mural sits outside the restaurant that I had seafood chowder which tastes fabulous. A bit sad looking.

Normally this coast is looking bleak and grey. Finally a moment of blessing.
