Various street signs and street shots for Sign2

Upon Lismore's main thoroughfare, I find no place to stow my carriage.

This location, situated near China Town in Melbourne, is governed by a 'No Standing' sign, indicating that no vehicles, including bicycles, may be stationed here

The café in question is not situated in Segovia, but rather in Melbourne

De Graves Street possesses a distinctive ambiance. The indications are evident.

Upon the final day in Adelaide, we discovered a Thai establishment where we partook of spring rolls. Our endeavor to capture the beauty of Port Willunga proved unfruitful, for there were no parking spaces to be found.

A delectable Pork Knuckle adorned with a delectably crispy skin—one cannot miss such an exquisite dish, certainly not by mere accident.

All memories

Rapid Bay (other) Caves in Fleurieu Peninsula SA for Treasure Tuesday

Rapid Bay, South Australia, is home to several other caves. Joel had been feeling unwell due to the earlier inclement weather. He was eagerly anticipating a great opportunity to photograph Granite Island before visiting Rapid Bay. Fortunately, his spirits lifted when the clouds began to part at Rapid Bay. I, too, was pleased, as there were new subjects to photograph in this area. I would not have visited had Joel not needed to attend a wedding there. These caves are remarkably large. Unfortunately, the rocky walls exude an odor of urine, a consequence of the actions of some of the local youths.

Granite Island trail for Treasure Tuesday

This was part of granite island walk we took on. The stairs are great photography opportunities for us but we did have to wait almost 20 minutes for the kids to vanish out of our view finders.

Joel is probably my last close friend that I can rely on these days. Literally there are no secrets among us. The trip was rather literally so spontaneous that we decided to take a great road trip for a few days while he visited a friend's wedding.

No 16 Beach, Rye, Mornington Peninsula for Skywatch Friday

Sunset without clouds is usually looking the same everywhere. Joel tried to get his feet wet for a shot he would hardly process after he got home.

Ishizuka Melbourne Cuisine for Randomosity

Expensive meal for Joel's Birthday. We were still hungry afterwards, so we went to a dumpling alley.

I realised the photos would be buried in my hard drive forever after the occasion. I might as well post them here like a diary.

Black and white photo of Joel

This is a black and white photo of Joel. He got some attitude when we dined somewhere in the city I think.

Joel

Gonna organise photos into groups. This is all Joel's photos (before I lose all these in my hard drive)

I remembered this wine sucked badly. We were ripped off the wine by being overcharged 120 dollars by the shop.

Needs to go out for lunch. A bit of break from posting these would be nice. There will be more effort to dig out more photos about Joel (for data collection)

Talking about 4/3s with Joel

My friend, Joel, has been convincing me to switch to the new camera system to experiment. Apart from the skilled preaching on his behalf, this new system does excite me a little.

While we were talking about the limitless possibilities of various lenses of different register distance used on the mirrorless camera bodies, I took out my old camera and canon 24mm f1.4 for some casual snapping.

Not too bad for a lens whose design dated back to 1982...

The day ended with a good nice pasta soup and rich choclate cream. Thank you, Joel.
