Childer's Cove in Mepunga Coast for Sunday Best

Squatting in this beach where 22 children were massacred was not really a good feeling.

Tom and Eva on Great Ocean Road for Water H2O Thursday

There are just way too many tourists. I could not bother waiting until sunset.

Mail Boxes in Warrnambool for Sign2

The mailboxes stand out more than the signs.

Twelve Apostles Sunset Great Ocean Road for Treasure Tuesday

I cannot help being cheesy posting a frame that all tourists do here. People are all stampeding the boardwalk in the look out platform. The vibrations ruin my long exposure attempts.

As I grow older, I prefer to stay away from the people. More like a recluse.

Stingy Bay for Sky Friday

This is only 1.3 km from my unit in Warrnambool. So I often come here for a stroll straight after my Thai Dinner. I found a lot of dog poo on the beach though. Sad.

Bridgewater Bay Sunset for Skywatch Friday

I have taken sunset shots from this location many times. Each time, the colour and the vibe are different.

No 16 Beach, Rye, Mornington Peninsula for Skywatch Friday

Sunset without clouds is usually looking the same everywhere. Joel tried to get his feet wet for a shot he would hardly process after he got home.

No 16 Beach, Rye in Mornington Peninsula for Water H2O Thursday

We missed the lowest tide on the day. I believed the forecast prediction was an error. So we did not get to see Dragon's Head which was already immersed in the ocean. Then I tried to salvage the effort into getting a fine art shot if I could. This will do!

Balnarring Beach Mornington Peninsula for Water H2O Thursday

On the day, Joel and I were supposed to visit the abandoned submarine in Hastings. It turned out the wreckage was already removed! It was so upsetting. So we moved quickly to this nearby beach before sunset took place.

Boat House Restaurant in Kew for Sunday Best

Doing drone shots with Joel in Kew Garden. Then we spot this nice restaurant being reflected in the water.

Forest Cave Phillip Island for Treasure Tuesday

This is low tide. Having high tide, this cave would be under water. Love sunset through the cave.

Cat Bay Sunset for Water H2O Thursday

It was a trip to west end of Phillip Island. Joel refused to photograph the famous broken jetty in the area. Instead, we camped at this rocky foreshore. Later in the night, we abandoned to do Milkyway because of my misreading of the moon rise time which was hanging brightly in the middle of sky.

School holidays drive traffic even crazier than normal. I can't wait for the kids return to school.

Forest Cave Coast for Skywatch Friday

Joel and I were supposed to find the entrance to forest cave. We believed the tide was not low enough that the entrance was immersed in the sea still. So we took a snap at the sea.

Goldcoast Sunset for Skywatch Friday

Joel works 5 days a week in a senior position of a retail chain. I brought some crispy pork to house during a workday as he works from home. Then I discover that he has yet slept for 48 hours as he is trying to get the server back up for the company. He looks terrible. It reminds me that it is a blessing that I do not need to work everyday anymore.

I discovered an old film photo from Year 9 that Joel and I travelled to Canberra Australia in 1993.

I was pissed off that he couldn't stop playing heavy metal on his Walkman.

Cafe scene through the window for Tom's Sign2 Event

This was taken from one of the street candid photo walk. There happened to be a sign. So this will do for the event.

I was lucky to be appointed as a moderator for Bestofglobe-Australia on Instagram. I don't know why I committed myself to this role, but it would be fun to find more like minded in down under.

Chipmunk Mural for Mural Monday

In the last few weeks, I have been making efforts to take train to CBD doing my photowalk round and street candids. Some murals have been replaced by new ones in AC DC lane.

It was fun to snap murals like social landscape photography. Hoiser Lane is unrecognisable with so much tagging. It is definitely violence to arts.
