The sea foam gathers around the solitary rock at the heart of Pearses Beach like froth on the rim of a teacup, delicate yet restless, swirling and folding with every breath of the tide. Above the water, the last glimmer of sunset catches the surface, scattering a quiet golden light across the waves and turning this small corner of the Mornington Peninsula into something almost dreamlike.
