What an incredible view! It’s amazing to see an active volcano, especially one with such an interesting geological history. Your photo really captures the beauty of the landscape.
Now this is cool, Roentare. I actually love active volcanoes, and I've walked through a number of lava tubes. I don't know how much time you have to read, Roentare, and if you enjoy novels, but I loved "Eruption" by Michael Crichton and James Patterson. Take care!
...a beautiful scene.
ReplyDeleteThis wetland is coming back to life for another season. If the volcano is still active this wetland must get some heat.
ReplyDeleteIt is rather windy and cold at that part of the state

ReplyDeleteAn interesting jungle landscape and reddish color of the earth.
ReplyDeleteGood shot and explanation of the place.
I would never have guessed this! It looks like a march or wetlands!
ReplyDeleteSuch a vivid green, contrasting with everything else.
ReplyDeleteEspero que no slaga mucha lava y no cause destrozos en la zona.
ReplyDeleteNice perspective.

ReplyDeleteIt looks so tranquil.
ReplyDeleteWhat struck me were the reflections on the water. I don't live anywhere near a volcano, active or not.
ReplyDeletenice view
ReplyDeleteEn caso de que entre en erupción al estar aun activo ese humedal desaparecerá por el efecto del calor de la lava.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Es una foto muy bonita. Feliz mes de diciembre.
