Fungus Mount Macedon for Treasure Tuesday

This was taken at the beginning of the month which was rather late for mushroom hunting.

Overnight was zero-degree celcius. No fun. The lack of sunlight and the cold feeling in isolation does make me a little melancholic.

On YouTube, I saw this phenomenon called "Blue Dot Effect" published in psychiatric journal, which was rather interesting. Basically, we all choose to have our own problems when there is nothing really major. Food for thought.

  3. No soy precisamente experta en setas y no sabrá distinguir las comestibles de las venenosas.
Por eso cuando la consumo, las compro en el supermercado.
    Buen hallazgo y excelente fotografía.
    Un abrazo.

  4. That is a very interesting bit of You Tube research. you have taken something kind of ugly, and made it beautiful! The light on the stems and the Bokeh are gorgeous effects!

  6. I kind of agree with that statement. Readers here are probably not under threat of being bombed, being malnourished or in extreme poverty.

The lighting in the photo is interesting.

  8. I think we have our own problems all the time. But it would be insensitive to constantly cry about our painful ingrown toe nails when 4 people died in the Sydney floods or entire families died when an Indian building collapsed.

  9. Perfect photo,
mushrooms in general are a very nice subject to photograph.
I think that in 2022 a Greek had won the National Geographic photo prize on the subject of the three morels, a type of mushroom considered a culinary treasure, stands out for its labyrinthine appearance and is located on the highest mountain of Greece, Olympus.
