There is nothing extraordinary about this ordinary stretch of Noosa Beach Esplanade, yet I find myself drawn to its quiet, unassuming beauty. I enjoy strolling along the waterfront, watching the vast sky drift beneath clusters of white cumulus clouds, while the water takes on a soft, translucent green and the golden-yellow sand stretches gently along the shore. The scene offers little drama, no spectacular sunset or grand natural spectacle, just the familiar rhythm of sky, sea and sand existing in effortless harmony. Even beneath the wet, heavy humidity, with moisture lingering in the air and everything feeling faintly damp against the skin, there is something deeply soothing about wandering here. Sometimes, all a photograph needs to offer is a moment of quiet, a place where the eyes can wander and the mind can rest.

Very beautiful
ReplyDeleteI can see why you are drawn to this beach. Not only is that a great landscape photo, but it is also a great sky.
ReplyDeleteQuite windy on the day
DeleteSenzillament bellísima.
ReplyDeleteTot fa el seu camí, la mar arrissada, els niguls i la calma que ens dóna,.
Salutacions.
It soon turned into a drizzle
DeletePrecioso paisaje con un cielo lleno de nubes que lo convierten en una delicia a la vista
ReplyDeleteBella imagen, el cielo es realmente atractivo.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
So peaceful. And I love the different blue and teal shades, with the mountains in the background.
ReplyDeleteIt is a classic view apparently
DeleteOh I think there is a grand natural spectacle here, Roentare! My eyes were immediately drawn to the volcanic structure standing tall in the photo. I hardly saw the beach and ocean. But then I love volcanoes. I did a little digging and found out the volcanic plug is Mount Cooroy and is the remnant of a volcanic event 25,000,000 years ago. Apparently the Australian continent (plate) drifted over a fixed volcanic hotspot which produced a series of volcanoes like Mount Cooroy. I love it: The magma pushed up through the "Myrtle "Creek Sandstone. The Cooroy magma cooled very slowly into a coarse-grained mangerite which is a rare plutonic intrusive igneous rock. Your photo opened up a fascinating rabbit hole for me. 😂. Thanks, Roentare!
ReplyDeleteYou do more search than I do. There is a lot of history in the land I walk on
DeleteI think it's very exceptional!
ReplyDeleteSo serene!
ReplyDeleteI think it's lovely. Especially the view!
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely, and Noosa is a bit like a maze at times.
ReplyDeleteYes--- You are right. Sometimes, just a moment of quiet does just fine!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot indeed.
ReplyDeleteIt is an idyllic scene.
Saludos.
Such a peaceful scene.

ReplyDeleteMaybe not extraordinary, but I find it quite appealing.
