Tucked away in the quiet geometry of an Adelaide laneway, the city's morning hum softens into the background, leaving only the steam rising from a breakfast cup and the sudden, fierce geometry of a hidden wall.
Here, a dragon breaks through the brickwork—not in a whisper, but in a deafening shout of crimson, scarlet, and blood-orange. It is a creature born entirely of fire and focus, coiled tightly around the architecture of the alley as if it grew from the stone itself. Its scales twist like cooling magma, vibrant and heavy against the dark recesses of the street.
The beast’s face looms large, defined by curved white horns and eyes wide with ancient, knowing mischief. A long, pink tongue lolls past jagged teeth, playfully tasting the cool morning air just above a modern fire door that it seems to guard. Yet, for all its coiled power, a delicate grace tempers its fury: pale pink cherry blossoms drift across the composition, softening the dragon's sharp claws and anchoring the fierce, red spectacle in a moment of fleeting, poetic balance.
