Today though little chance of rain but the sky was completely overcast. Joel rang me saying he was too bored needing to do something. So we came to this same location from 2 weeks ago. This time, it is high tide. It was good for long exposure. The cloud break allows us to see some colours too.
One Aussie chap was brave enough to enter this water which was pretty much freezing. The torrents were so severe that we thought we could lose him into the sea as well.

Wonderful capture, it sure does look cold.
ReplyDeleteTrue turbulence
DeleteAre males a bit careless with sensible health and safety precautions?? Could you have saved him, if he was swept out?:
ReplyDeleteThere were no ways to rescue the guy. The council signs are put up everywhere not for any leisure activities.
DeleteYou do get some nice seascapes.
ReplyDeleteThank you, AC. Love long exposure, play
Delete...nature's artwork.
ReplyDeleteIt does its own painting
DeleteYo me conformaría, como has hecho tu, con fotografiarlo. Nunca me metería en el mar, cuando el agua está helada.
ReplyDeleteQue tengas un buen fin de semana
It is a lovely spot for photographers though.
DeleteWhat a story! I love the way the foam on the water looks!
ReplyDeleteIt is something experimenting with exposure time would render
DeleteThis is a fabulous photo, surreal and magical! Good to know the Aussie returned safely.
ReplyDeleteYes, we were so horrified.
DeleteUn bonito lugar al que supiste sacar toda belleza del momento.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
Thank you, it is an obsession of mine to find them
DeleteTe ha quedado estupenda por el efecto seda de la larga exposición.
ReplyDeleteLove the fun with long exposure.
DeleteUna foto que me gusta. Besos.
ReplyDeleteThank you Teresa
DeleteLovely photograph.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Sunday.
All the best Jan
The rocks look like an eagle landing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous scene. We haven't reached double figure temperatures here yet today so swimming is not enticing.
ReplyDeleteNice. Some swimmers are crazy.
ReplyDeleteSuch an amazing shot, Roentare 👍👍
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
A very beautiful photo
ReplyDeleteLovely shot and it does look cold.
ReplyDeleteFabulous picture. And by the way--actually the duck was following us around looking for a handout. On the other side of the lake there are homes where people no doubt pass out goodies. She was a sweet duck
ReplyDeleteA few seconds well spent here!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful beach and seascape! Take care, enjoy your day and have a happy new week!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant done, well taken.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like clouds. Super shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. I slso like you have a friend saying 'I'm bored, let's do something...". I do a lot of stuff but it's organised. Spontaneous adventures seem to have gone out the window. I might need to address that. #SundayBest
ReplyDeleteThe Hawaiians say we should never turn our back on the sea
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! The rock looks like an eagle turned to stone as it lands... Thanks for taking part in the "My Sunday Best" meme
