This stupa is so close to my Bendigo home. It is free. It is always quite peaceful to walk in its gardens. The biggest emerald jade Buddha in southern hemisphere is located in this stupa (how many countries are there in southern hemisphere anyway?).

A very beautiful picture
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mikael.
DeleteLo primero que me he fijado, en esa pared de piedra, con hermosas texturas y una vez, recorrida con la vista, desde el principio hasta el fin. La vista se detiene en ese bello edificio de color blanco, con una impresionante arquitectura.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo
You are very observant. The garden is still unfinished til this day
DeleteGoodness, I have never seen anything like this!
ReplyDeleteIt took 20 years to build by public donations.
DeleteIt is a beautiful place! Take care, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteIt is peaceful
DeleteHDR? Colors looks a bit weird.
ReplyDeleteI over-exposed the frame by mistake. So I lowered brightness resulting in high level of noise. Then a layer of Gaussian blur rendering a style of oil painting in the end.
Deletepretty building
ReplyDeleteIt looks peaceful ...
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I learned a new word today! "Stupa!"
ReplyDeleteThanks for the education and for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2023/06/power-tower-nearer-and-clearer.html
That's very nice.
ReplyDeleteNice shot. It is a big one that, we have looked at it from the carpark near the highway a few times when travelling by, each time more improvements.
ReplyDelete,,,a lovely setting. I've seen a Stupa in Maui.
ReplyDeleteAt first, I thought the Buddha thing was a ship. Thinking about it and comparatively speaking, I don't suppose many countries are entirely in the southern hemisphere although some are in both.
ReplyDeleteI had never heard that word before. It looks like a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful.
ReplyDeleteUn bello lugar con ese templo como fondo.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
A very beautiful place.

ReplyDeleteLovely image! One of my daughters has traveled a lot, so I am familiar with the word stupa. (Autocorrect, however, is not, so I had to fix it.)
ReplyDeleteInteresting structure. I can see why you like to visit there.
ReplyDeleteThank you for showing me
ReplyDeleteHow lovely having that so close. I can see why walks there would be peaceful.
