Lal Lal Falls, Ballarat, Victoria

The track to the foothill of the falls is always shut since 2006 following deaths of 2 overseas students. Most of my pals went down there regardless.

In winter, there is no crowd around here. So it is good to slow down here.

    1. Thank you Mikael! Most of the social media platforms can get hacked anytime. All the work and efforts down the drain once taken. So no need to go to that full length for a "unique" angle.

  3. Debe ser muy peligroso bajar hasta allí. No hay que asumir tanto riesgo, cuando se peligra la vida.
    Feliz fin de semana.

  4. They look good falls, and if you've been there before and know the area can't see any problem in going again and again.

    1. I do feel Victorian national parks are not laid out well with poor proper signposts etc. This happens in the name of conserving nature making outsiders finding it impossible to visit

  5. Very dramatic falls-- but I love the layered formations even more. Great shot.

    1. Thanks Bill. These are basalt rocks I believe. These rocks render autoexposure gone crazy.
