Beside Pulpit Rock at Cape Schanck, the waves seemed to gather in a natural hollow, splashing and swirling in a water-worn pool before slipping back towards the sea. Beyond the dark rocks, the horizon was slowly surrendering to evening, brushed with delicate shades of pink and molten orange. For a fleeting moment, the restless ocean and the quiet sunset seemed to meet in the same breath—a wild corner of Melbourne softened by the last gentle light of day.

Linking Water H2O Thursday

Has acertado muy bien con tu último párrafo "un rincón salvaje de Melbourne suavizado por la última luz del día". Una fotografía con buenos contrastes tonales.
ReplyDeleteThe kind of image I love to create
DeleteOMG this looks like another planet. It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteAlmost an image of opposites. Calm and soft pastel at the top and dark mysterious water and rocks underneath.
ReplyDeleteMaybe something dark and sinister beneath
DeleteGood juxtaposition of wild and soft.
ReplyDeleteWonderful sunset behind that restless sea. Just think of all the mysteries under all that dark water.
ReplyDeleteYou dont want to get down there lol
DeleteThat slow exposure is just mesmerizing!
ReplyDeleteIt was an experimentation
DeleteAt times the sea can appear like a single living being, and this is how it seems in this photo.
ReplyDeleteAlways unique scenery to record
DeleteStunning
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful photo. Always lovely colours and well done.
ReplyDeleteSalutacions!
The sea looks still quite wild and menacing, a contrast to the serenity of the evening sky.
ReplyDeleteYou show us so much beauty.
