Adelaide carpark mural for Mural Monday

In the same Adelaide car park as last week's mural, another giant cartoon seems to have emerged from the concrete walls, bright and unapologetically strange. Pink and blue fingernails stretch across the painted scene, giving the whole work a wonderfully surreal character—as though some playful giant has wandered into the car park and left a fragment of a dream behind.

There is something oddly charming about finding art in such an ordinary place. Among parked cars, grey concrete and passing footsteps, this vivid mural breaks the monotony with colour, humour and a touch of beautiful absurdity.

  2. I agree. Splashy color and a touch of absurdity. Plus a bit of whimsey.

  3. This is the perfect spot for a vivid mural, Roentare. That monkey is really strange.
