Mount Alexander is a central for hikers in the region of Loddon Valley. It has plenty of snakes too.
I was watching "Extrapolation" TV series. A phrase caught my attention.
"Comfort the afflicted. Afflict the comforted"
DJ Mini Pro4
Linking Sunday Best
...a best for sure.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite spooky inside the mountain in the dark
DeleteThat's a very interesting phrase. That's a gorgeous sky.
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice moment in the evening
DeleteLooks like a beautiful place for a hike, love the sky. Watch out for those snakes, ugh. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSnakes are everywhere this summer here
Deletefantastic shot

DeleteWonderful sky but be careful of those snakes.
ReplyDeleteIn backyards too
DeleteA gorgeous photo, and interesting quote.
ReplyDeleteRelaxing in the wind
DeleteLas serpientes pueden ser muy peligrosas, solamente las he visto en el zológico.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
I would see a few on every hike I took here
DeleteBeauty, the night are rolling in leaving with a glowing a picture.
ReplyDelete"Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
ReplyDeleteBlessed are the merciful, for they will have mercy."
Let us be joy and comfort to those around us.
Snakes are disgusting creatures
ReplyDeleteThat is a spectacular view. Lots of Australia has plenty of snakes - which I view with extreme caution.
ReplyDeleteNot certain about that quote. Afflcting the comforted sounds mean to me.
A wonderful looking sky.
ReplyDeleteWatch out for snakes.
All the best Jan
Looks good but don't like the idea of snakes.
ReplyDeleteMarvelous shot!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a beautiful place to hike.
ReplyDeleteBut snakes???!!!! Yikes!
Stunning shot, Roentare!
What what? Afflict the comforted? What would Hippocrates have to say about that! Aw, what the heck. Have another beer. I'm seeing more and more drone shots in movies. Some are very well done, some make reality look like a model layout, and I don't know why. Another fine shot.
ReplyDeleteI think the phrase is more related to climate change crisis. A lot of people who are comfortable with their lives are to be "afflicted" to make some changes to their environment
DeleteSpectacular photo and interesting quote.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fine perspective. A real bird eye's view.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mural.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I like where that phrase is going but perhaps I'm not sure exactly what the author meant to express?
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at https://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2024/01/the-beautiful-basilica-in-paray-le.html. You gave me something to reflect on.
Parece un bonito lugar para disfrutar de la naturaleza de no ser por las serpientes como nos dices. La foto con ese cielo te quedo genial.
ReplyDeleteLa frase es de las que te dejan pensando.
Saludos.
El cielo se ve muy bonito. Besos.
ReplyDeleteThe hike and area does look awesome but the snakes, not so much.
