Great capture of the red ants! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great weekend. PS, thanks so much for leaving me a comment.
Hello Roentare :) Your photos are great and I enjoyed seeing a species of ant I have never seen before. Their torso is so different from other ants I have seen, but I would be wary of their presence anywhere near me. Take care Sonjia
Yo no te puedo ayudar para descifrar la especie. Pero creo no vi nunca unas hormigas con ese abdomen.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
I can't tell much either
DeleteHormigas de una gran belleza.
ReplyDeleteAbrazo
If they don't touch us
DeleteNasty bites from fire ants - is that right?
ReplyDeleteHurts like hell
Delete...not a friend of mine.
ReplyDeleteGot bitten by it all the time in summer here
DeleteEl que sí sé és que son formigues i què complicat és desfer-se'n. ;-)
ReplyDeleteBona foto.
Salutacions!
They are pests here
DeleteThey are gorgeous. I love ants. :-D
ReplyDeleteThey look absolutely vicious!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't think they had made it to Victoria yet. I hope it is too cold for them.
ReplyDeleteAs a kid I was a bit phobic about red ants. They were always out to get me!
ReplyDeleteNot my favorite critter...
ReplyDeleteNice shot of them. Those ants are apparently not good to have in any area.

ReplyDeleteOuchy! I walked through my yard this week and felt some stinging. Not sure what was on my foot but probably ants.
ReplyDeleteI hope that they don't bite.
