Powerful image, Roentare! The people who drowned were probably panicked and terrified. The thought stabs me in the heart. I've always wanted to see the Blue Grotto in Italy since I read about it in one of Richard Halliburton's books when I was a girl. A few years ago I was literally standing on a rock ledge a few meters from the entrance. It was sealed off by a high tide and a scuba diver was entering it. I had a glass of wine at a cafe by it and saluted the grotto. That's likely as close as I'll get to it in this lifetime. But I haven't given up all hope ~ lol!
Looks beautiful but sounds scary, I hope the cave explorers stay safe. Have a great day!
