I cannot ID the birds. They do look nice.

Yesterday was Lunar Chinese New Year. I spent the whole day binge watching "Boy Swallows Universe". The series is definitely better than the book.

  1. I was duck hunting in the local wildlife refuge yesterday afternoon, a couple of rare varieties are nesting in the marsh.

  5. I think they are European Goldfinches, too, Roentare. I did a google image search, and that's what came up. They're a long way from Europe! We went to Chinatown for Chinese New Year here. Honolulu has a large Chinatown, and it was colorful and noisy with tons of people celebrating ~ lots of fun.

  10. Creo podrían ser jilgueros o como les llamamos por aquí siete colores o colorines ya que no son muy grandes.

    Saludos.
