Again, amazing scenery, and I can understand why swallows enjoy it (if they are similar in behavior to our swallows in the United States). I've never seen anything like that scenery in person. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
Wow - that's some engineering, first on the part of the Creator, and then on the part of those who constructed the roads. Thanks for joining us this week at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2023/04/aaaah-springtime.html
Building that must have been a challenge.
ReplyDelete...this reminds me a bit of some roads in Maui.
ReplyDeleteThey say that one good turn deserves another. :)
ReplyDeleteIt is all marble? I am surprised it was not destroyed by mining! I would sure not want to be on this scary road!
ReplyDeleteLooks like they had just enough room to build it.
ReplyDeleteTiene un paisaje precioso. Besos.
ReplyDeleteThank you Teresa
DeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI can imagine all the hard work it was building that tunnel. It is a lovely view! Have a great day!
It was traversing through the mountains
DeleteStunning :-D
ReplyDeleteThank you Ananka
DeleteI think swallows nest on cliff faces, so it makes sense there being a lot of them around. What work that tunnel must have been.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, but not a road I would feel comfortable on. Yes I know, I am a wimp.
ReplyDeleteaww... stunning.... love to visit one day
ReplyDeleteAmazing bit of engineering. Building tunnels used to be incredibly dangerous work; thousands lost their lives building our railways.
ReplyDeleteLovely scene but what a job those workers had building that road.
ReplyDeleteThings like that always amaze me. Thanks for posting it.
ReplyDeleteVery nice constructing work here and amazing to see.
ReplyDeleteInteresting
ReplyDeleteEl paisaje es precioso, pero por lo que nos dices de ese túnel su construcción fue todo una desgracia con la muerte de muchos obreros.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
That is amazing.

ReplyDeleteThat's stunning.
ReplyDeleteSeems impressive to be able to build a road through these mountains. Lovely photo.

An amazing feat of engineering and an endless supply of blood, sweat and tears... Thanks for joining "My Sunday Best".
