Alnwick Castle

Alnwick Castle is a nice pleasant place to visit. This castle is filmed in Harry Potter and Robin Hood movie.

Pollies roast at Granger market at Northumberland street

This Granger market takes place on the weekends. This is what the local Northumberland residents call "rare breed" pig. 

Quite tasty - juicy and tender. With local apple sauce and herbal mix.

Castle Keep of North - At Newcastle upon Tyne

Castle keep is a place kids go to in Newcastle. The place is only 5 min walk from my hotel which is named after an Earl Grey apparently.
Terrible fringing with my crappy camera which was brought along for its light weight.
This castle is 2000 years old apparently. Quite incredible to come to think of these rocks surviving this long.

The stairs to the roof was a little similar to the experience of rock climbing. 

4 pounds for the entry fee

King's chamber - quite small and sad looking. I would prefer my hotel room.

The great hall - where the king has his meetings... The top part has a ring of corridor for archers to stand by looking down into the centre of the hall ...

Sand Dune at Mungo Lake

Directional lighting makes good contrast. Though this is a plain picture, it has interesting pattern.

This is Great Wall of China from Mungo Lake. Quite weird that this view did not remind me of anything that resembled a wall or Chinese heritage at all...

The typical short budget excuse has blocked off any entry to get a closer look at the spot!

Red Look Out at Mungo National Park

I love the look. Though there were so many flies trying to get into my lung, the place was well worth the visit.

Sand Dune at Mungo National Park

The Sand Dune at Vingar Well of Mungo Lake.

This was such an adventure that both Joel and I were so exhausted in completing this trail of desert walk.

Some texture photo opportunities were definitely worth it.

Cumberland Waterfall

This is the little cascade waterfall - Cumberland in North East Victoria. The lush green from the old day Pentax gear was somewhat nostalgic.

Big Head Chicken

Thanks to my brother, Alan. I have never tasted Xin Jian Food - north west of China. The restaurant is only 2 km from where my mum lives. 

The sauce is spicy with a touch of meaty creamy taste. The noodle are chewy. It is what I called comfort food.

Sichuan Sour Pickled Cabbage Fish

Nice poetry on the porcelain. Warm and chilli soup. It is a dish that always enlightens me every Friday evening.

Motor Bike

I am not an expert on bike. Doesn't this bike look pretty? 

It would be hard for the bike to run on rough service or hilly roads.

Ninety Miles Beach

At lake entrance, this beach is well known. The gale had made the walk quite difficult. But I enjoyed the fresh air though.

Morwell pub food

The great lamb shanks from Italian Australian Club in Morwell.

Nice big chunks of lamb.

Lake Bunga, Gippsland

This was a fresh water lake near Lake Entrance, Victoria. In fact, this beach was much nicer than Nnety Miles Beach off Lake entrance beach walk way.

Olympus 12mm f2 rendered the rich colour and refreshing feeling of the day!
