Seagulls at Stingray Bay, Warrnambool for Saturday Critter

I am uncertain as to why a flock of seagulls has gathered, seemingly intent on feasting, despite the absence of fish in the shallow waters. I am simply awaiting the sunset, yet these creatures have chosen to accompany me in this moment.

  1. I bought an LP with that band from a friend in the military back in 1984. I only paid 10 SEK for it.

  2. But what a wonderful unexpected photo moment!! You even got their reflections! I am thinking they want the little creatures that live in the sand on the shore, like tiny crabs and such.

  5. Hunger made the birds very sharp. When the crabs or whatever emerged, the birds gathered together and "shared" the treasure. Larger fish would have been better, of course.

  6. They have learnt that humans mean food. I don't mean you personally but what you might leave behind.

  7. Low tide must bring a buffet of food for the Seagulls. They seems to be gathering for an opportunity to feed.

  8. Maybe the gulls also gather to watch the beautiful shades of colour.
