It was really overcast when Joel and I arrived this location on Saturday. We both busted our ankles by tripping on the steep hill down to this rocky area. My thighs are still sore 2 days later. It was a good work out though.
Not feeling so well after getting back to work again. This must be a sign of ageing.

Wow, gorgeous scene and photo. I hope you feel better soon. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteNature is so therapeutic in its own ways
DeleteThat is a great long exposure of the rock. Great with all the red. No one ever said photography should be easy!
ReplyDeleteStefan, that is kind of you. It took a lot of attempts to get it right since it was hard to move among the rocks. I set the camera up and stayed for quite a while at each spot.
DeleteThese rocks are a work of art! God's handiwork!!
ReplyDeleteI love these rocks very much.
DeletePrecioso con esos tonos ocres de las rocas y el rojizo del musgo.
ReplyDeleteA challenge to run through these rocks
DeleteRapidly rusting rocks.
ReplyDeleteMarvelous photo.
ReplyDeleteAn artwork
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo
Not many can do the slow shutter speed on water as well as you. Nice!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful place well worth the trip by looking at the result.
ReplyDeleteWow-that's a cool photo. I'm glad you shared it. Just a reminder this is an art journaling challenge, not just photos. But I did enjoy seeing yours. Hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteAlthough this is a beautiful photo, it is NOT appropriate for Art Journal Journey, where we share art journal entries ONLY.

What a beautiful scene - I'd love to see it as part of a journal page as that's what we're about at Art Journal Journey. I know how your thighs ache having walked downhill on rocky ground myself recently, Chris (co-admin)
ReplyDelete...a beautiful image of a natural treasure.
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this: the red subject, the red foreground, the sky, the timing of the water.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful scene.
ReplyDeletePostcard perfect!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful spot for sure.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are feeling better!
Por lo que nos dices y lo que se ve en tu foto creo se puede decir es un lugar tan peligroso como bello.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
A brilliant photo, great composition. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThat is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't look like it would be easy to clamber over those rocks at any age! But a striking photo is your reward!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.

Se ve precioso. Un beso.
ReplyDeleteSorry to read you are not feeling the best, after a few days you will come right.
ReplyDeleteLovely photo.
What rugged scenery that is - beautiful but I wouldn't trust my ankles on it at all. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
