I am in Albany WA for a week contract. Hard to find time to comment on other blogs. I will catch up after return.

Linking Treasure Tuesday
This shot was taken last weekend with Joel. The tide was coming up rapidly. Within 10 minutes, we had to duck out of there.
Awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw it, I thought it wasn't a very safe place...
The whole underside is submerged in the sea
DeleteEs muy bonita y original. Una visión diferente de un muelle.
ReplyDeleteLots of barnacles there
DeleteIt's interesting to see the underside of a pier.
ReplyDeleteAs long as no asbestosis
DeleteThis is very moody!
ReplyDeleteThe waves were roaming onshore
DeleteMenos mal que la salida fue a tiempo, podrías haber sido atrapado por el agua.
ReplyDeleteLa principal es desempeñar bien el trabajo. Cuando lo finalices tiempo tendrás, para comentar.
The trip there was an excuse to try Yeeros in a nearby Greek Restaurant
DeleteA scene that many people don't see.
ReplyDeleteI have been here a few times. Just revisiting spots hoping to get a different tone or light
DeleteSpooky looking.
ReplyDeleteFor a horror movie
DeleteInteresting scene and photo! Take care, have a great day and happy week ahead.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Eileen. You have a great week too
DeleteOoh, scary photo. I don't think you would get me under there! Not willingly anyway :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. It is really cool. :-D
ReplyDeleteIt looks very exciting and lovely down there
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice shot.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Great photo under this pier. The tide waits for no man, so it is good you didn't get trapped under there. Thank you for following my blog.
ReplyDeleteAlbany indeed. That must be lucrative. I am so glad some of Princes Pier was kept.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture!
ReplyDeleteHow did you manage to get that fog like effect?
ReplyDeleteThat is a beauty.
ReplyDeleteTruly Amazing
ReplyDeleteWhat a great place for pictures!
ReplyDeleteI always worry about the incoming tide in such situations. It comes in very rapidly along our east coast. That looks to be a very substantial pier.
ReplyDeleteNice picture - a classic use of a longer SS. Cheers - Stewart M - Melbourne
ReplyDeleteWonder how long those pillars will last.
ReplyDeleteGreat place for taking photographs. I like the way those upper beams draw the eye.
ReplyDeleteInteresting perspective. Travel safely!
ReplyDeleteNo need to catch up when you return. Just resume normal posting and commenting.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! It looks like everything is in slow motion and even the pillars are moving.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot. It shows movement in a still shot.
ReplyDeleteLa foto he de decir que es magistral y por lo que nos dices pudo ser esos días de fuertes mareas. En otra ocasión casi mejor mirar el ciclo de mareas y así evitar sustos.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
...this is a fabulous image!
ReplyDeleteMe gusta la foto, la veo muy interesante. Besos.
