Lake Tyrrell Topdown View for Water H2O Thursday

That boardwalk is a controversial installation at Lake Tyrrell. Going through federal court at the moment. Apparently, it is to do with the construction being illegal for the aboriginal community.

I took many Milkyway shots on that circular walk though. The best thing ever for photographers.

  1. Goodness, it looks like something that was superimposed on top of the photo. I can see how it would be so useful for so many people. But it does not seem to fit in with the landscape, and the aboriginals were there first as well.

    1. The local tribe in Lake Tyrrel left over thousands of years ago. There is no original group to claim the title.

  3. Hacen bien en defender sus derechos. Espero que el tribunal , le de la razón a los aborígenes.

    1. It is the sand that contains iron salt to show that colour

  5. Lo aborígenes deben ser escuchados, son los originales habitantes de esas tierras. El lago es muy curioso por su color. Es contaminación?

    1. It is not pollution. No algae. Just pure rocks that contain iron.

  6. I think it's very nice looking and it seems politics play into everything anymore. I hope it gets sorted out.

  8. I'e never seen a circular boardwalk like that. I hope the courts make a decision soon. In the United States, litigation can last for years.

  12. Hello
It is a pretty sight, the colors are amazing. I would think if more money is paid out, the boardwalk will stay. Take care, have a great day!
