That boardwalk is a controversial installation at Lake Tyrrell. Going through federal court at the moment. Apparently, it is to do with the construction being illegal for the aboriginal community.
I took many Milkyway shots on that circular walk though. The best thing ever for photographers.

Linking Water H2O Thursday
Goodness, it looks like something that was superimposed on top of the photo. I can see how it would be so useful for so many people. But it does not seem to fit in with the landscape, and the aboriginals were there first as well.
ReplyDeleteThe local tribe in Lake Tyrrel left over thousands of years ago. There is no original group to claim the title.
DeleteCreo que no todo vale en muchas ocasiones y debemos ser un poco mas respetuosos.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
More money compensation will usually solve the problem.
DeleteHacen bien en defender sus derechos. Espero que el tribunal , le de la razón a los aborígenes.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo
Courts are hired by the government
DeleteIs the water really pink?
ReplyDeleteIt is the sand that contains iron salt to show that colour
DeleteLo aborígenes deben ser escuchados, son los originales habitantes de esas tierras. El lago es muy curioso por su color. Es contaminación?
ReplyDeleteIt is not pollution. No algae. Just pure rocks that contain iron.
DeleteI think it's very nice looking and it seems politics play into everything anymore. I hope it gets sorted out.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ☺
I really like the boardwalk and I hope it can remain.
ReplyDeleteI'e never seen a circular boardwalk like that. I hope the courts make a decision soon. In the United States, litigation can last for years.
ReplyDeleteIntentional blur?
ReplyDeleteIntersting circle over the lake and let's hope it can be left there.
ReplyDeleteIt's a very curious sight and I'm glad you've explained just what is depicted. It all looks very psychedelic!
ReplyDeleteI had a hard time figuring out just what I was looking at. Thanks for explaining. I like it's originality.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see some of your Milky Way photographs---maybe sometime!
Incrível estas cores.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.
