Rural Scene in outback for Treasure Tuesday

Wind mill in country town is a treasure. I used to loathe the lack of stuff to do in the country. However, the noise level is so low that I enjoy the quiet very much.

I got a new drone toy that Joel basically managed to brainwash me into buying one. I have not stopped snapping shots around my work trip to the Victoria Border.

  1. The landscape does look a little lonely and forlorn but also pretty in its own way.

  8. I agree - it's lovely to be able to escape the hubbub sometimes.

  10. Dry, isn't it? Are they at risk of bushfires, this summer?

  11. Lush is nice. I live in a lush place. Sometimes the dry ruins of a dead farm, with a rusty windmill, and a lack of vegetation can be cleansing-- rather the absence of noise-- can be very cleansing.

  12. This could easily have been taken here in Arizona. It looks very much like the land about 80 miles north of here.

I have never used a drone but would be fun to try

    Saludos.
