Forest Glade Garden for Treasure Tuesday

Well, I do not own this statue. But I tend to visit this private garden opened in Spring and Autumn. The garden is located in Mount Macedon 1 hour drive from Melbourne.

The statue is a little weird that one dude is staring into another dude's private part. Quite a focus on the facial expression too.

  1. They have quite a battle going on. What a brilliant shade of green on the plants.

  4. I wonder what the statue is saying - is it representing something in particular i.e. a Norse legend or some such? It's not something I'd choose to have in my garden, but the vibrant green colors are pleasing to the eye for sure!

  5. It is a lovely garden. We attended a picnic there once, perhaps two decades ago. The owner, back then at least, was interesting.

    1. Yes, I can imagine that such a statue would be in the garden.

  6. People are very good about opening up their gardens. We have such tours here, homes too. I was once passing someone's garden with a friend and we were admiring it very much. The owner saw us and invited us to take a tour. She was very proud of it as well she would be, it was delightful and we spent almost an hour chatting with her and looking as we walked around. No statues though!

Me gusta lo bien situada que está, a la derecha de la imagen.

  10. It’s quite interesting. I wonder if it is biblical like Jacob wrestling with an angel. Doesn’t look angelic though. Fun stuff.
