Photo Diary
This was standing on the cables while I drive passing by Boort.

Another bird we don't have here. He's beautiful.
"Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree...." A song from my childhood.
I knew the song too
...I learned the song years ago too.
It is quite pleasing as a lullaby
A great song reminder.
I should have included the video clip in the post
I remember the song too.
Old song it is
beautiful bird... never seen in nature
It is louder than gala
Un bello ave que no hay por aquí, pero con las mismas costumbres de posarse en los cables.Saludos.
It is an urban adaptation
Se sostiene en los árboles, desde donde observa si hay algún peligro.Feliz fin de semana.
Bird spotting is always fun.
Among the terrible drives
Kookaburra needs to sit in an old gum tree not an overhead wire.
I spot falcons in CBD too
Lovely! I would truly enjoy taking a photo of a Kookaburra in it's natural habitat. Such an extraordinary bird!
I have never seen one before, what an amazing bird! Isn't this the one that has a loud laugh?
If I were him, I'd laugh at us too!
Interesante pájaro. Buen día.
