For the Saturday critter event, I found this raptor during my commuting to various rural locations. It is always circling around the roadkill.

Good shot. They aren't easy to photograph flying .

DeleteLovely photo ✨
ReplyDeleteThank you. Not my cup of tea but it was fun.
DeleteIt probably spotted you first.
ReplyDeleteIt did. I was tracking it. Whenever I got close, it flew away. They always came back to the roadkills though.
DeleteIt has a kestrel face but they are tiny
ReplyDeleteI am a landscape shooter. So this is too hard for me

ReplyDeleteThank you for the nice words.
DeleteYou did well photographing the bird. I expect the bird did well with the food.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant photo and I admire your patience trying to capture it in flight.
ReplyDeleteIt all worked out, though. Nice.
ReplyDeleteHello :=)
ReplyDeleteNice shot! It's so difficult to capture birds in flight, but you did a good job of capturing this bird of prey.
Lovely shot!
ReplyDeleteYou nailed it. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say what Mr. Gently says: kestrel-like but too big. I know how hard flight shots are! You are a patient person!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful bird!
ReplyDeleteUplifting shot. Thank you
ReplyDeleteA kestrel? Or peregrine falcon?
