Rainbow in the storm, Loddon Malley Region, Australia

I finally finished my round of work. It is time to drive back to Melbourne for a good dose for relaxation. Then my buddy called me to head to the coast this evening. I felt buggered

Swan in Lake Weeroona Victoria

She is always there in my daily walk around the lake. This time she came for a feed. I got nothing to offer her except admiration

And I wish you a merry Christmas and happy festive season from down under!

Anchors of the Marie Gabrielle, Wreck Beach

This place is really wonderful to visit. Problem is that the whole beach is immersed under the sea in high tide. It takes about 333 steps to walk down the stairs off the cliff and a 3 km hike along the rocks.

In fact, this is also a popular astrophotography spot which I would not dare coming alone.

A night out - Tom's Sign2

After a hard day, it helps visiting some food joints chatting away with friends. Good that there is still one or two left lol

Sunset in Grampians Australia

Love the mist and the light and the fresh air. Best to detox from the mundane life.

I ended up doing most candid street photography in Melbourne CBD over the past 3 days. Funny it really feels great! I will add them to the queue in my other blog Melbourne Street Photography

Colourful bokeh at night, Birrarung Marr

Another El Nina gonna hit Australia and this will be the third one in the past 10 months. This means the continuous wet weather will make my regular photo walk a bit more challenging to do so in the coming months.

When I took this shot, I kind of hope no one was going to rob me from behind...

The Sunrise in Nyah West, Victoria

I am a rural geriatrician. So, I provide consults to the remote nursing homes in Vic-NSW border towns. This sunrise view is the bonus view I often get. This only last 5 minutes or so before the sky became a wonton.

The only concern is that big trucks and cargo carriers often speed without a worry in the world. Taking a shot by the roadside is quite risky.

Outback in Mungo National Park, NSW, Australia

This is the sunset I was happy to see while waiting for the night milkyway shot. Concerned about the clouds in the distance that should disappear by the midnight

Lonely fountain in the concrete jungle, Spencer street, Melbourne

Solo stroll in the street sometimes gets moody shot after a bowl of ramen!

It has been so cold last few days. It takes 10 minutes to defrost the windscreen.

Cafe atmosphere

This kind of cafe atmosphere is what makes suburban Melbourne Cafe attractive - Cafe culture. f1.2 bokeh gave this sense of atmosphere. Maybe my severe myopia gave me this kind of depth of view most of the time.
