That is a shot I took when I was waiting for Joel to finish his shots. He always takes forever on the prime spot. So I took out my zoom searching for second best views to snap.

It was really overcast when Joel and I arrived this location on Saturday. We both busted our ankles by tripping on the steep hill down to this rocky area. My thighs are still sore 2 days later. It was a good work out though.
Not feeling so well after getting back to work again. This must be a sign of ageing.

A little sombre just the way I like it for the past few weeks. I tend to underexpose the shots using ultra-wide-angle lens in my hike. Stefan would not approve lol.
I am planning to re visit Cape Woolamai with Joel today. The long car drive is always our talk therapy time. Also eating cheap eats along the way is also a way to enjoy Australian weekends.

Love the vibe and the fun treking around the region. Now sunny weather for the rest of the week. Cant wait to go to Pinnacles again. More photo therapy.
Joel always took the best spot blocking my camera view!

The treasure is the steep climb along the track up to the falls. The woods, lack of mosquitoes and constant sounds of water flow are just so pleasant for my whole day on the weekend.
This is a frame in a portrait orientation that strikes differently to all the ones on the Instagram. I used to frequent this location in the university days. A lot of memories.

I used to frequent this location a lot. This was taken before the time a log fell in front of the falls. A co-worker asked for a photo like this, so I found from my large collection of photos.
It is probably time to go back.

Among many trips to this location this year, this was one of the unique photo where I managed to get my whole pants soaked wet by rogue waves. However, the silky flow in the foreground works out well.

This was taken from a while back in my Brisbane trip. Joel and I accidentally found this mangrove bunch near the coast.
I was worried the sea breeze would move the tree branches too much causing motion blur during the long exposure.

For me, sea is my treasure. The gentle hiking and the smell of ocean just cleanse my worries away.
By sunset, it was pouring rain on us. We ended up discovering another fish and chips shop run by Greek grandfather. The snapper and souvlaki were so yummy and delish!

Long exposure shot from a different angle on the large rock. I really like the silky waterflow.
Joel and I gonna venture into Bridgewater Bay again. This time mainly on a sea shelf during semi-low tide by sunset.

Today though little chance of rain but the sky was completely overcast. Joel rang me saying he was too bored needing to do something. So we came to this same location from 2 weeks ago. This time, it is high tide. It was good for long exposure. The cloud break allows us to see some colours too.
One Aussie chap was brave enough to enter this water which was pretty much freezing. The torrents were so severe that we thought we could lose him into the sea as well.

Melbourne has been wet for several consecutive weekends.
The beach is cold and magical moments are hard to find.
This weekend is likely to be less rainy. My pal and I gonna take another adventure.

Joel and I saw the sign saying "gorgeous Red Coast" on the freeway. So we made a turn and explored this region. It turned out Red Coast was not red yet quite dull to visit. Too built up for our liking.
Then besides the mangrove bush, this abandoned old dock was observed. Few minutes later, the whole ground was covered in water.

It was the evening after some nice Wagu all you can eat. a stroll on the way back to hotel got me notice this light up. Ever since high school, I have not "wandered" late at night in a foregin city like this.

Serenity falls is quite elegant on the way to Noosa. There are so many Vloggers around the area making it so hard to photograph this fall.
I caught up with my buddy Joel for a trial of best state meat pie in Victoria. There is a whole scotch egg inside the pie. Quite impressed.

Mangroves are in this region. Without the low tide, it is more pleasant for long exposure

A really nice hidden waterfall, still present after Black Saturday bushfire. Love the anions emitted by the forest at the same time.
