Warburton creek river flow for Sunday Best

I lost my 50mm f1.2 . I bought the lens again for its special rendition it has.

Warburton Creek for Water H2O Thursday

Last Saturday was pretty much cloudy overcast. So picking a random creek in Warburton again.

King Fisher for Saturday Critter

I was lucky enough to spot it in a casual walk in Mt Baw Baw. Pity it was squatting in the shadow.

Creek whirl Mount Baw Baw for Sunday Best

That is a shot I took when I was waiting for Joel to finish his shots. He always takes forever on the prime spot. So I took out my zoom searching for second best views to snap.

Mount Baw Baw for Sunday Best

A little sombre just the way I like it for the past few weeks. I tend to underexpose the shots using ultra-wide-angle lens in my hike. Stefan would not approve lol.

I am planning to re visit Cape Woolamai with Joel today. The long car drive is always our talk therapy time. Also eating cheap eats along the way is also a way to enjoy Australian weekends.

Fushimi Inari-taisha for Tom's Sign2

This is one of the most frequented shrines in Kyoto Japan. There are always endless photos of these tori gates on any forms of social media.

The names on the red poles are donators.

Creek in Gippsland, Victoria, Australia

Water can be so soothing. Xmas is truly a silly mad season. After a spiraling runs of various health issues affecting mum and me, my buddy is going through a crisis in marriage...

It is easier to sit by the creek away from the world

Foraging in the bush, Emerald

The sheer joy of getting a macro shot in focus. I am using an old sigma macro lens from 30 years ago. There is no digital coating on the lens. So flare sensitivity is clear. I don't like flashes in macro so this was taken at high ISO. A lot of noise. Well, whatever. It was a nice walk in the wet forest.

Forest in Warburton, Melbourne

Forest in winter is therapeutic for one's soul. Minus the mosquitos, leeches and potholes.

Coming here requires a commute through Warburton the town known for various cults quarters based in it. The only thing I like from the town is the bakery that sells apple pear pies which is to die for. I even had a photo from it, getting promoted on "In Explore" on Flickr. How bizarre. It was a mediocre shot!

Woods in Mount Dandenong, Melbourne

This is the third month entering the blogsphere of blogspot. I have to say that I start to enjoy blogging on this platform again. The community is warm and engaging. The experience is quite different from instagram, twitter or even tiktok. It is the early blogging experience that probably makes me nostalgic.

As long as this domain does not get hacked again once the blog is more established.

This shot was taken after a scrumptious meal at a high tea place on Mount Dandenong.

A stroll in the woods. Refreshing to see a mushroom. Shallow depth of field is nice too.

Toorongo Creek, Mt Baw Baw

Despite it is so freezing up there, the diffuse light and uniform colour tone allows proper long exposure on the water.

Fungi

Fungi on dead wood. The walk in Daylesford is kind of fun. Love the casual walk.
