King Fisher for Saturday Critter

I was lucky enough to spot it in a casual walk in Mt Baw Baw. Pity it was squatting in the shadow.

Cape Patterson reverse sunset for Sky Watch Friday

This is a long exposure shot when I used to visit the coast on my own. Joel only became my company after his separation from his wife.

Brighton Beach, Melbourne for Water H2O Thursday Event

There is no epic sky. Just the same overcast weather with constant drizzle. There is also no parking available in the area on weekends. So one can only visit during the weekdays.

Ducklings Healesville for Saturday Critter

This is a lovely spotting before I visited Wildlife sanctuary in the region. At the time, I was using canon lens converter for Sony A7RIV. Canon lens tends to give yellow cast to the image which is impossible to remove in software.

Spiral Stairs in Spencer St Melbourne for Sunday Best

Joel and I are trying to re-examine the photos from our regular walks. I like this one the best.

We were told to leave when a security officer told us not to photograph the stairs. But we were standing in the public space taking a photo of the steps. We could not understand why they bothered. There were tons of the same images on the net too.

Mount Dandenong Tea Room for Treasure Tuesday

This is a tearoom that mum and I came to try in a cold winter day.

The place was ambient until the kids came rushing into the door.

Bendigo Stupa of Universal Compassion for Treasure Tuesday

This stupa is so close to my Bendigo home. It is free. It is always quite peaceful to walk in its gardens. The biggest emerald jade Buddha in southern hemisphere is located in this stupa (how many countries are there in southern hemisphere anyway?).

De Graves Street Signs

This was one of my usual candid shots in the area. Somehow the signs do pop a little.

Elvis Sign for Sign2 event

This was one of the gallery events in Bendigo where I live for the past 10 years.

This was done in a way I like it.

Sorrento Coast Sunset

A while back, I was exploring sea caves along Mornington Peninsula. I kind of like this shot.

Lake Tyrrell Night Sky

It has been so busy trying to catch up on work and friendships.

This was taken in Lake Tyrrell.

Melbourne North sunrise for Eileen's sky watch Friday

Just in time coming back to Melbourne stormy weather. A nice stormy weather before sunrise in Melbourne North.

There are 1 giga of travel photos in my hard disc. I gonna process them gradually over time. Funny that I received a call from my good pal for a nice Japanese dinner in the city. It is true that friends are older the better. I miss the home feeling.

Melbourne Night City View as Treasure Tuesday

This is taken during a low tide at Brighton's beach. The night scenery is not bad.

Tenby Point without the mud

Mangroves are in this region. Without the low tide, it is more pleasant for long exposure

Meteor Sign in Melbourne Museum for Tom's Sign2

I was in a dinosaur Melbourne Museum. This sign marks the end of the fossil tour. A fitting meteor for the tragic ending.
