Bee for Saturday Critter

A bee or wasp. I cannot tell exactly what it is either. I just like the green bokeh.

It was a late night yesterday. My pal and myself went searching for the sweet spots taking the gorgeous surfer's paradise sunset. It was not a disappointing experience. Persian Dinner at the nearby location too.

Lake Tyrrell for Tom's Sign2

Lake Tyrrell is my regular spot for a sunset snap. Strictly speaking, it is a reverse sunset I am snapping. The word Tyrrell in first nation language means "expanse" or "Space".

Day 2 in Brisbane, I have captured tons of photos. So unmotivated to attend this conference that does not do updates as they should have. I will aim to explore the sunshine coast tomorrow.

Corra Flynn Cascade Waterfall, Marysville

A really nice hidden waterfall, still present after Black Saturday bushfire.  Love the anions emitted by the forest at the same time.

Kookaburra on a tree, Grampians

I recalled this one was so loud that it took a little walk to approach her. She did not move at all.

Erskine waterfalls, Lorne, Victoria

Erskine waterfalls is very popular along Great Ocean Road. I used to frequent this location in university days once a month. There is a large Spanish population residing in this town. Local Paella is very nice which is only cooked up every Sunday evening.

Red Galah for Eileen's Saturday Critter

They are everywhere. So loud.

Murray vs Kokkinakis tennis match over night was a nice one to watch. Just feeling too exhausted to do anything today

Blue Fairy Wren for Eileen's Saturday Critter

Blue Fairy Wren is my favorite, but they are so agile to photograph.

Beetle for Eileen's Saturday's Critter

A beetle of some kind. Not an entomologist here.

Red-browed finch for Eileen's Saturday Critter

Red Browed Finch was spotted outside the public toilet in Cranbourne Park. I spent two days looking for nice robins to photograph. Ironically, she was just wandering outside the loo!

Heavy Storm and fog in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia

Everything was a blur doing long exposure in the rain. It turns out dreamy in a way

A pair of barn swallows perching on a tree branch in Cranbourne

Port Campbell National Park, Victoria, Australia

I just love this part of my state. The health system is, however, a wreck. If anyone is not well, it is best to jump into the sea water instead of going into any of these hospitals here. At least one would get a natural death.

I am finally finishing my round of work. It is time to recuperate over the weekends. So many roads were flooded so badly.
